Day 1

   King statue + Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan)

   First stop at statue of King Anuvong then Drive 25 km (35 min) to the sculpture park — over 200 giant Buddhist and Hindu statues, including a 40-metre reclining Buddha and the Heaven and Hell Tower with Mekong views toward Thailand.

2. Mid-morning

   Pha That Luang

   En route, glimpse the First Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge, then visit the 45-metre golden national stupa — Laos' holiest Buddhist pilgrimage site.

3. 12:00

   Lunch

   Move to a restaurant in the city for lunch.

4. 13:15

   Wat Si Muang

   Visit the Temple of the City Pillar — home to Vientiane's sacred lak mueang and guardian spirit, dating from 1563.

5. Afternoon

   Wat Sisaket

   Explore the oldest surviving temple structure in Vientiane with its collection of over 10,000 Buddha statues.

6. Afternoon

   Patuxay Monument

   Stop at the Victory Gate of Vientiane on Lane Xang Avenue — inspired by the Arc de Triomphe, with a panoramic deck on the top floor

7. End of tour

   Return to hotel

   Transfer back to your accommodation in Vientiane.
